Eva Longoria, featured on the cover of Redbook Magazine’s December 2016/January 2017 issue, is the Celeb Optimist of the Day! In the most recent issue of the women’s magazine, Eva talks about life, love and – in true Celebrity Optimist spirit – seeing the brighter side of things.

“I am absolutely the most glass-half-full person you’ll ever meet,” she tells the publication. “There is no glass half empty in my world, nor have I ever looked at the world that way. I remember losing auditions or being let go from a job and I’d say, ‘That must mean there’s something amazing ahead for me!’ My friends would laugh and look at me like I was crazy. I have never, ever had a personal pity party. If something doesn’t work out the way I hoped, it’s just part of the plan. Somehow I was supposed to make that left turn, instead of a right.”
