Every year on December 1st, we observe World AIDS Day. Launched in 1988 – and the first global health day ever – the day offers the “opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died.”

Celebrities and public figures are sharing in spreading the word by calling supporters into action, getting tested to know their HIV/AIDS status, and to simply spread the word. From Prince Harry to Rihanna, Channing Tatum to Caitlyn Jenner, the celebrities hopped on to social media to support the cause.
