Yesterday was #GivingTuesday, a global movement fueled by social media, where people and organizations come together to give back – to others, to community, to the world. According to the organization’s website, “#GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.”

Celebs were out in full force to help spread the word on the yearly efforts, many of them making statements on their social media. From Kerry Washington to Reese Witherspoon and Cara Delevingne to Mindy Kaling, the stars offered their support for various charities. In its fifth year, there was a flood of support both online and off.
